You’ve registered domain via BeoNET but it’s not visible
From the moment of registration of your domain till inscriptions in BeoNET’s DNS it takes about 12 to 24 hours for the presentation to become active and be visible world wide. During that time presentation is visible only for users who log on through BeoNET. This could be the reason why your e-mail will not work immediately after the registration.

|
 |
General instructions for FTP connection setup reads:
• Choose your FTP client,
• In boxes Username and Password enter your username and password which you’ve received when you’ve leased a package.
• Default port for connection on FTP server is 21.
• In the case your PASSIVE mode is on, you will need to turn it off.
• Firewall and/or Antivirus software may block connection.
• You will need to adjust it to forward FTP protocol.
• If you experience problems with connection, turn it off temporarily.
Also, check whether the package you use for Internet access have limitation for port forwarding.
After that you can connect to your FTP account and upload your presentation in wwwroot/ folder. It’s important that your home page has name index.html, index.htm or index.php so your presentation can be visible while accessing your address.

You can’t log on to your FTP account
Check have you correctly entered your username and password for your FTP account. Username and password must be exactly as you’ve received in your access parameters. Check whether during entering your password you have Caps Lock turned on, because then you have entered password with all capital letters. Also check do you have active firewall, and if you do, whether the exit for FTP client is allowed. Look up options PASSIVE mode in settings of your FTP client.

Client shows that you have successfully transferred file, but its size on FTP is 0 (zero)
That is the one of the indicators that the size of your leased space has exceeded. You can solve this problem in two ways. The first is to unburden your existing space (deleting unnecessary files which burden your disk space), and the other is to lease the next larger hosting package.
|
| |
|
 |
You have successfully logged on, but you don’t know where to upload your presentation
Upload your presentation in directory which is indicated in FTP parameters you’ve received. For Windows platform that directory is wwwroot. Warning: All files that you transfer to your FTP account and aren’t in directory which is indicated in access parameters – it won’t be visible on Internet. Under no circumstances delete your root directory. You can delete files that are in the directory but you can not delete the directory itself!

The most likely reason for that is that your site has been blocked because you haven’t paid your invoices.
You’ve transferred your domain to BeoNET and you have been informed that the transfer is successfully completed, but when you try to log on from your previous provider, your site is not visible or your e-mail doesn’t work
Please check with your previous provider have they deleted your records from their DNS.

I get an error when I try to CHMOD my files. What's the problem?
