In order to set or change contents of your presentation over the Internet, the first condition is that you are connected to Internet.

Connecting to your web site through FTP

For this step you will need FTP client which is an application that connects your computer and your server on which your web site is located.

When you’re setting your FTP client you need to enter parameters for connecting to your internet presentation. You will receive these parameters when we set your FTP account.

Uploading files to server

When you connect to server through FTP client you will be automatically sent to root folder of your web presentation.

The first document that is shown when someone visits your web page is index.html, but you can also use name default.html and .htm extension.

Other documents and whole folders you can transfer as you wish.

Simple and golden rule: Do not erase files that you have not uploaded yourself! In that way you will be sure that your web site will work undisturbed.
